Though I May Not Always Call

I may not call you every day,

Or text when skies turn stormy gray,

But in the quiet of my heart,

You’ve held a warm, unshaken part.

No ticking clock, no miles of land

Can weaken ties that truly stand.

Life pulls us down its winding streams,

Yet still, you’re present in my dreams.

A laugh we shared, a tear we caught,

The quiet strength your kindness brought—

All these remain, like roots below,

That help my inner garden grow.

Friendship’s not just daily talks,

Or endless walks and photo walks;

It’s knowing someone knows your soul,

And gently helps to keep you whole.

So when the silence stretches long,

Know still, our bond is just as strong.

I may not often say it clear,

But trust this truth: you’re ever near.
