University of Abuja Distance Learning Admission Form: Programmes, Requirements & How to Apply

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission, applicants must meet any of the following requirements:

1. O’Level Requirements

• A minimum of five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in relevant subjects obtained in not more than two sittings from any recognized examination bodies (SSCE/WASC, GCE ‘O’ Level, NECO, NABTEB, or TC II).

2. A’Level/Diploma Requirements

• Two (2) A’Level passes with a minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects.

• Direct Entry (DE) applicants must have:

  • At least four (4) credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in SSCE/NECO (not more than two sittings).

  • Two (2) A’Level passes or a Diploma at Upper Credit level or 10 points in IJMB.

  • NCE holders with a minimum of 10 points from a recognized institution plus five (5) O’Level credits (as stated above).

Duration and Mode of Study

• Duration: 4 or 5 years (depending on entry qualifications).

• Mode of Study: Online course delivery, multimedia resources, audio-visual materials (CDs, DVDs, disk drives), etc.

How to Apply

Follow these steps to complete your application:

1. Click on the APPLY HERE button to begin your application.

2. Fill in your biodata (Surname, First name, Other names, Email, and Phone Number).

3. Generate an RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) code on the payment preview page.

4. Proceed to make payment (₦15,000 application fee) via the Remita platform using a MasterCard or Visa card.

5. After successful payment, you will receive an application number.

6. Log in again using your application number and surname as the password to complete the application process.

Fees Breakdown

1. Application Fee: ₦15,000 (excluding bank charges).

2. Acceptance Fee: ₦30,000.

3. School Fees:

New & Direct Entry Students

• Faculty of Social Science & Arts: ₦120,800

• Faculty of Management Science: ₦130,800

• Faculty of Education: ₦120,800

Returning Students

• Faculty of Social Science & Arts: ₦105,300

• Faculty of Management Science: ₦115,800

• Faculty of Education: ₦105,300

Note: All payments must be made via the school portal using Remita.
